⚙️How do I set up a connection to retrieve sick leave via Altinn?

A program link is required to retrieve medical certificates from NAV/Altinn.

Set up program link

  1. Go to Settings > Import/export > Program links.
  2. Click on New.
  3. Select Altinn.
  4. Name the program link.
  5. Specify company registration number.
  6. Save.
  7. Contact our support via Service portal so that we can verify your company registration number(s).
    Please note that verification needs to be completed before you can proceed to full stop 8.
  8. Click on Register system user. A dialog appears with information about which authorisation the system user needs in Altinn.
  9. Select organization number and click on Send.
  10. You will receive a link to Altinn where you log in and approve the request for system access.

Flex HRM requests individual authorisations for sick leave and nearest manager. In Altinn this may appear as several authorisations, as NAV and Dialogporten use different programming interfaces (APIs). This is expected and roughly corresponds to:

  • retrieve sick leave from NAV
  • receive notifications and read sick leave dialogues in Dialogporten
  • receive and read forms regarding nearest manager in Dialogporten
  • submit assignment for nearest manager to NAV

Finish and check the connection

When you have created the system user and approved the request for system access, do the following:

  1. Go to the program link in Flex HRM.
  2. Click on Subscribe to sick leave and Subscribe to nearest manager.

The settings should now be completed. Click on View status to check that the subscriptions are active and validated by Altinn.

 

Log

When you have selected the program link for Altinn under Settings > Import/export > Program links, you can click on Log if you want to see the communication that has taken place as well as any error messages.
